Last Revised: June 7, 2026
At Globally Matters, we take every project seriously and invest real time, research, and expertise from the moment work begins. This policy explains when refunds are available, when they are not, and how to raise a concern if you are unhappy with our work.
1. Our Commitment to Quality
Every service delivered by Globally Matters — whether SEO, digital marketing, content writing, or WordPress development — is built around your specific business goals. Prior to commencing any project, Globally Matters and the client mutually confirm the scope of work, delivery timeline, and expected outcomes in a written project agreement.
If at any point you feel the work is not meeting agreed standards, we encourage you to raise it with us directly at info@globallymatters.com. Our first priority is always to resolve the issue and deliver the outcome you were promised.
2. Nature of Our Services
Behind every project at Globally Matters is a real investment of time, industry knowledge, and hands-on effort — from initial research all the way through to final delivery. Because of this, our refund terms are structured around when work begins and how much has been completed — not simply when a payment was made.
Our four core service areas and how refunds apply to each:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO work involves technical audits, keyword research, on-page implementation, and off-page strategy. Once an SEO project has been initiated and research or implementation work has begun, the effort invested cannot be recovered. Refunds are not available once SEO work has commenced.
Digital Marketing and Paid Media
Campaign setup, audience research, ad copy creation, and platform configuration require substantial preparation work. Once a campaign has been set up or gone live, refunds are not applicable. If a campaign has not yet been configured, a refund request may be considered.
Content Writing
All content produced by Globally Matters is original, researched, and written specifically for each client. Once a draft has been delivered, the work is considered rendered and is non-refundable. We offer one round of revisions within the agreed scope to ensure the content meets your requirements.
WordPress Web Development
Web development projects are broken into milestones. Payment made against a completed and approved milestone is non-refundable. If work on a milestone has not yet begun at the time of a refund request, the amount allocated to that specific milestone may be refunded after review.
3. When a Refund May Be Considered
A refund request will be reviewed and may be approved under the following conditions:
- The request is submitted within 5 days of the initial payment.
- Work on the project has not yet started at the time the request is received.
- The service agreed upon was not delivered within a timeframe that was clearly committed to in writing by Globally Matters.
- A significant portion of the agreed deliverables was not completed and no resolution was reached despite communication.
Each request is assessed individually. Approval is not automatic and depends on the stage of work and the circumstances involved.
4. When Refunds Are Not Available
Globally Matters does not issue refunds under the circumstances listed below:
- Work has already been initiated, delivered in full, or approved by the client.
- The client has been unresponsive for an extended period, causing delays in project completion.
- Dissatisfaction is based on SEO ranking outcomes, traffic results, or ad performance — as these are subject to external factors outside our control, including Google algorithm changes and market competition.
- The client provided incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information that affected the quality or direction of the work.
- A revision was requested and delivered, and the client subsequently requests a refund for the same deliverable.
- Work was already underway at the time the client chose to pause or cancel the project.
5. Partial Refunds
In cases where a project is partially complete at the time a refund request is made, Globally Matters may offer a partial refund corresponding to the portion of work that has not yet been delivered.
The amount of any partial refund is calculated based on time spent, resources used, and work completed up to the point the request was received. This assessment is carried out by our team and communicated to the client in writing.
6. How to Request a Refund
Should you wish to submit a refund request, kindly follow the process outlined below:
- Send an email to info@globallymatters.com with the subject line: Refund Request — [Your Name / Business Name].
- Your email should include your project reference, the date payment was made, the specific service purchased, and a detailed explanation of the grounds for your request.
- Our team will send a written acknowledgment within 2 business days of receiving your request and proceed with the evaluation.
- A final decision will be communicated to you within 7 business days of receiving your request.
You may also reach us by phone at +92-327-8835865 or visit our office at Office No. 18, 1st Floor, Hermain Tower, Bund Road, Lahore, Pakistan during business hours.
7. Refund Processing
Once a refund has been formally approved, the amount will be returned to you within 7 to 10 business days from the date our decision is communicated. Refunds are returned through the same payment channel used for the original transaction where possible. For bank transfers, processing time may vary depending on your financial institution.
Globally Matters does not charge any administrative fee for processing approved refunds.
8. Revisions Before Requesting a Refund
If something is not quite right with a deliverable, please give us a chance to fix it through revisions before considering a refund. Most concerns about deliverables — whether tone, structure, design, or strategy — can be resolved through a revision round without the need to cancel the project.
Revision entitlements for each project are established at the outset and clearly documented within the agreed project scope. Should you have any uncertainty regarding the revision terms applicable to your project, please reach out to our team and we will provide full clarification.
9. Disputes
If you have raised a concern and feel it has not been resolved fairly, you are welcome to escalate the matter in writing to info@globallymatters.com addressed to the attention of Muhammad Daud, Founder.
We are committed to resolving all disputes professionally and transparently. If a resolution still cannot be reached through direct communication, the matter will be subject to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
10. Changes to This Policy
Globally Matters may update this Refund Policy from time to time as our services evolve or as circumstances require. The revised date at the top of this page reflects when the current version took effect. We recommend reviewing this policy before beginning a new project with us.
